ORDER ONE SHIRT SIZE PER SKIPPER, RC AND JUDGES
See the attached photos of the polo shirts with the original logo designed for the 2024 Championship. One shirt is provided as part of your registration fee or if you are a RC or Judges volunteer.
WE NEED YOUR SHIRT SIZES ASAP to try to give you a preferred size at the Regatta. If we do not hear from you, you will still get one shirt but may not be your preferred size.
YOU MAY ORDER THE SHIRTS FOR CREW, FAMILY FRIENDS DIRECTLY AT YOUR COST FROM BOATERS WORLD.
Size charts and directions to order more shirts are in a separate email. - Look for emails from Alice Martin.
SIGN UP FOR HULL CLEANING WEDS. JULY 24 – 27 See attached flyer to schedule a cleaning. . Cleaning is NOT A PART OF YOUR REGISTRATION FEE But our fleet will get a discount per boat from Max Diving who is coming to Cheboygan from Chicago, if 9 to 12 boats preorder.
ORDER BOX LUNCHES: Your registration fee includes 1 breakfast(Thursday) , 3 afternoon receptions(July 24-26) 5-7 pm. and 1 banquet (Sat. July 27.) It does NOT include lunches or full dinners Weds-Friday. Duncan Bay Boat Club does not serve food or drinks. We will be including local beers and wines at our receoptions.However, drinking is permitted on the premises and there are grills and picnic tables on the premises and our event has a tent.
SACK LUNCHES CAN BE ORDERED FROM THE GREAT LAKES GRILL BY 1 PM THE PRIOR DAY FOR THURSDAY –SATURDAY. for -DROP OFF AT THE CLUB BY 8 AM. WILL HAVE MENUS AVAILABLE WEDS NOON WHEN YOU ARRIVE.
OTHER NOTES:
Duncan Bay Club marina docks are prepaid as part of your registrations fee. Each skipper however will fill out a form about their boats upon arrival. PUMP OUT service is available but FUEL IS NOT. Either fuel up before you arrive E, G St. Ignace, mac City etc. or there is fuel at the Cheboygan county marina across the river from the Club. You could stop there on your way in.
APPENDIX A forms will need to be presented to the OA before the first race. Instructions will be in the SIs which will be published soon. Be sure your sail buttons, crew World Sailor Classification and Fleet membership are up to date.
